USDA/ARS Honeybee Lab

Entrance to the USDA/ARS Honeybee Lab in Baton Rouge, LA. This will be my part-time work place for the next 8 weeks. The other part-time will be out in the apiaries.

Here is a picture of the truck loaded up with deep boxes with empty frames. We were taking them to 'Frog'. This apiary is located near a lake where the air is filled with the sounds of frogs.

Here are some of the many hives located behind the Honey Bee Lab. Many of these hives are over 3 boxes high.
