On Monday, July 30th, I left Baton Rouge for DC. After arriving, we had a quick orientation. Above is a photo of the materials we received. That's me in the beesuit, top left.
Following orientation we listened our first speaker Mr. Roger Thurow. The author of Enough, The Hunger Season and The First 1000 Days. We all got a signed copy of his 3rd book The First 1000 Days. The book discusses the importance of nutrition from the time a child is conceived until its second birthday.
