Pupa and mite in a pill case?

We spent the day pulling pupa from frames and putting them into dishes. This task is not easy, as you pull the pupa out it is easy to damage the proboscis and legs.

Then we got to the fun and interesting part. Moving the pupa into capsules and inserting a Varroa mite. Yes, when I say capsules I mean pill casing made of plastic. These are used to ensure that the mite feeds on the pupa while they are developing into an adult bee.
